What we do

Epoxy Floor Installation Built Around Concrete Prep

We do one kind of work: we coat and finish concrete. A garage, a screened porch, a pool deck and a restaurant kitchen all start as a slab, and the condition of that slab decides how long any coating on top of it lasts.

So most of our time on a job goes into the part you never see. The concrete is checked for moisture, ground to open up its surface and patched where it is cracked, pitted or flaking. Slabs that are too worn for a simple patch get concrete resurfacing before anything else.

A coating rolled over dirty, sealed or damp concrete can look good for a season and then start to lift. Careful prep is how we keep that from happening on your floor.

Built for the coast

Floor Coatings Chosen for Coastal South Carolina

A slab a few miles from the ocean faces conditions an inland floor rarely sees. We plan each project around three of them.

  • Moisture from below: Muggy air and wet soil can drive vapor up through concrete. A moisture reading comes first, and the primer and system are chosen to match it.
  • Salt air and sand: Grit tracked in from the beach wears down a floor's surface. Textured flake finishes and hard topcoats stand up to it and rinse clean with a hose.
  • Sun and heat: Open garage doors, porches and pool decks sit in direct sun. Those spots get UV-stable topcoats that resist fading, yellowing and hot tire pickup.

The result is a floor picked for where it is and how it gets used, not a one-size package.

What we install

The Floor Systems We Install

We describe the coatings by what they do, not by brand name. These three cover most of the floors people ask us about.

How we work

How We Handle Every Floor Coating Project

These four habits stay the same whether the floor is a one-car garage or a commercial kitchen.

  1. 1. We See the Floor Before We Price It

Your price comes after an on-site look at the size of the area and the condition of the concrete, not from a guess over the phone.

  2. 2. We Tell You What the Slab Needs

If the concrete needs repairs before it can hold a coating, you hear about it at the estimate, not halfway through the job.

  3. 3. We Match the System to the Space

A parking garage, a lanai and a restaurant kitchen call for different coatings. We recommend one and explain the reason in plain words.

  4. 4. We Leave You With Care Steps

At the final walk-through you get the cure times for your floor and simple cleaning steps that help it keep its finish.
